Shipping & Returns
We can ship to virtually any address in the United States. Note that there are restrictions on some products.
When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.
Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.
Please note that shipping times referenced do not include time needed to process the order. All orders may take 2-5 business days to process prior to being shipped. Brother orders can take 5-7 days to ship
Please also note that any orders placed after 4PM EST will not be processed until the next business day. Our hours of operation are 9AM-5:30PM EST Monday-Friday .
Large Quantities and Heavy Items
Please call us at 1-978-461-4969 for orders of large quantities or heavy items.
We try to make the ordering process easy, but for large quantity orders and heavier items it requires more information from you, the buyer, and possible freight charges after the fact.
Please have this information handy when you call for quicker processing:
- Full Address
- Zip Code
- Do you have a shipping or loading dock?
- If so, great!
- If not, you will be charged an additional fee for the equipment necessary to unload your purchase.

We want to make sure that you are satisfied with your shopping experience. Please see below to make sure your return is handled promptly.
You may return any non Okidata items that are new and unopened within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item). Brother parts are subject to a minimum of an $8 restocking fee. Other items are subject to a 15% restocking fee.
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper. In many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
All products being returned require a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. You can obtain an RMA number by contacting Baystate Office Solutions by phone, e-mail, or website messaging.
Products can be returned for a Refund, Repair, Replacement, or Store Credit.
The follow products will not be eligible for a return and will be sent back to you at your cost and expense if received by us:
- Any product not purchased through Baystateoffice.com
- Any product without a valid, readable serial number
- Any product that is returned without all original packaging and accessories, including the
retail box, manuals, cables, and any other items included
- Any product from which the UPC code has been removed from its packaging
- Any product that exhibits physical damage
1. Create a return for your item
- You will receive an RMA number in e-mail or by phone

3. Your RMA is received & approved
- You will receive an e-mail once your RMA is approved
4. RMA Resolution
- If you selected Refund, your refund will be credited to your payment method used 3-5 business days from the RMA approval.
- If you selected Replacement, we will promptly ship your replacement product to you. You will also receive e-mail notifications about the shipment.
- The overall turnaround time for returns is normally 5-8 business days from the time we receive your RMA shipment.

- Return for replacement: 30 days
- Return for store credit: 30 days
- Return for refund: 30 days
- Restocking Fee: Yes (15%)
Items returned under this policy must be returned to Baystate within 30 days of the invoice date. We charge a restocking fee because we can no longer sell the item as new.
